Abstract:

Graph theory, and therefore Maple's package for graph theory, has
applications in chemistry, in particular to the enumeration of
constitutional isomers of organic molecules, based on Polya's theory.
In this talk we outline the principles of graph theory and show some
applications to hydrocarbons, emphasizing the mathematical aspects.
