Research Interests

Families of combinatorial structures, such as graphs or walks, arise in many different areas of mathematics, physics and computer science. My main mathematical interest is the development of methods and tools to manipulate these structures in a unified, semi-automated fashion.

My research lies primarily in enumerative and algorithmic combinatorics. I study different aspects of combinatorial structures such as their enumeration, construction, analysis, generation, and classification. The tools I use draw heavily on computer algebra, complex analysis, and symmetric function theory, and Groebner bases.
